We crawl, we run,
we turn our faces towards the sun.
So small and frail,
new parents's holy grail.
We dribble and drool,
eating mush in our high chair stool.
We nap, we cry
we wave hello, and wave goodbye.
We run and play,
having fun on a cool spring day.
We tantrum and temper,
we cry and whimper.
We get older and grow
and the more we know.
We learn love and pain
and watch out a window in the pouring rain.
We find partners and marry
and share sweet strawberries.
We grow old and die,
to return to the sky.
This is life, full of happy, and pain.
But dont worry, it starts over again.
